When Is an Electrical Fault an Emergency?

In these situations, the safest course of action is to switch off the main isolator at the consumer unit and call us immediately. Tripping RCDs and Circuit Breakers — What's Really Going On?

A repeatedly tripping RCD is one of the most common electrical complaints we receive. Electrical Repairs After an EICR

If you've received an EICR with C1 or C2 observations — from us or from another electrician — we can carry out the remedial work required to bring the installation up to standard. C1 observations indicate danger present and require immediate action; C2 observations indicate a potentially dangerous condition that requires urgent attention before the installation can be certified satisfactory.

We provide itemised quotes for all remedial work, and on completion we re-inspect the relevant circuits and issue an updated EICR confirming the installation is now satisfactory.
